The CHIC LIST for SS 11 by Vogue
Right after the closing of Paris fashion week, Vogue was releasing THE trend report for the next Spring-Summer, what's to wear and how. Here's a sum-up.
The fabric : cotton
The decade : seventies (73', 74'ish)
The colorS : neon, white, a combination of coral and fushia and tangerine
The trousers shape : "Go long, and go lean."
The skirt length : mid-calf or really really long - mini's out!
The good news : "tunics over skirts that mean we’ll breathe easy next summer"
The easy win : "If you don’t buy anything next summer, just add an animal."
The general tendency : boy meets girl. "Boyish rebel rockers" met "incredibly feminine girls in chiffon and pussy bow blouses".
The hairstyle : sexy short hair
The new designer to follow : Mary Katrantzou
